Suspicious Death of 20-Year-Old Woman in New Delhi Raises Concerns

New Delhi, May 15: A suspicious death case involving a 20-year-old woman has emerged in the Adarsh Nagar area of the capital. The deceased has been identified as Anshika Pandey, a resident of Lal Bagh, Azadpur. Reports indicate that she died by suicide at her home.

According to family and close acquaintances, Anshika was preparing for the NEET exam, marking her fourth attempt. It is reported that the cancellation of the NEET exam and the pressure of continuous study had led her to a state of significant stress, prompting her to take this drastic step.

Due to a lack of knowledge regarding legal procedures, her family transported the body to the park crematorium without notifying the police. Meanwhile, the police received information about the incident through a PCR call. Upon arrival, the Adarsh Nagar police took possession of the body and sent it to the BJRM Hospital mortuary for an autopsy.

A crime team and an FSL team also arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation and inspect the location. The autopsy of the deceased has since been completed, and the police are currently engaged in a thorough investigation of the entire matter.

In a separate incident, a young man’s body was found under suspicious circumstances at the district hospital in Sector 39, Noida, causing a stir in the hospital premises. This incident reportedly occurred around 11:30 PM on May 14. The body was discovered on the second floor of the hospital. Local police were alerted and arrived promptly to begin their investigation.

According to reports, the young man had come to the district hospital for treatment during the day and remained in the hospital premises until late at night. It is said that hospital staff found him unconscious during their routine rounds and, upon closer inspection, realized he had already passed away. The hospital administration and police were immediately informed.
