Mumbai is more than just a city; it is a feeling for those who live there. Once someone stays in Mumbai, no matter where they go in the world, the city’s memories pull them back. Popular TV actress Surbhi Chandna recently experienced this while on an overseas trip.
During her foreign travel, Surbhi grew emotional remembering her city, especially Mumbai’s famous vada pav, a sentiment she shared on social media.
On Sunday, Surbhi posted a humorous video on her Instagram account, revealing that she has been abroad for the last 15 days and is now deeply missing the small things about Mumbai. The video showed in a light-hearted way how, despite being in beautiful foreign locations with excellent facilities, her heart longs for Mumbai’s traffic, vada pav, and even the potholes on the roads.
In the video, Surbhi used a famous dialogue from the 2006 film ‘Shaadi Se Pehle,’ where Suniel Shetty’s character expresses his yearning for his city. She added a fun twist to that emotion.
She can be seen saying that now her mind wants to return to Mumbai to relive the city’s vibrancy and life once again.
Above the video, Surbhi wrote, “After spending 15 days abroad, I am beginning to remember the true identity of Mumbai. I crave the traffic, vada pav, and even the potholes.”
In the caption, she added, “Mumbai, vada pav, I miss you.”
Her post received warm responses from fellow artists. Disha Parmar commented, “Very nice,” while Monalisa wrote, “Craving to see traffic and potholes… hahaha… such a funny video.”
