Supreme Courts Order on Anant Singh: Neeraj Kumar Speaks Out
Neeraj Kumar comments on the Supreme Courts order for Anant Singh to surrender, addressing political concerns and judicial integrity.

Patna, October 30 (Daily Kiran) : Neeraj Kumar, a member of the Bihar Legislative Council, spoke about the Supreme Court‘s directive for MLA Anant Singh to surrender during a recent interview. He referenced the murder of Dular Chand Yadav, suggesting that the accusations against him are unfounded. “We are neither in the third nor the thirteenth. What do we have to do with all this?” he remarked.
Kumar emphasized the integrity of the judiciary, stating, “Our children have been targeted. We have not yet reviewed the Supreme Court’s decision, but it is crucial to recognize that honesty still exists in this country.” He noted that those who question the judiciary and democracy have received a firm response, affirming that justice is attainable.
Regarding the actions taken against Anant Singh, Kumar maintained that commenting on judicial decisions is inappropriate. “No one has been shielded by the government. If anyone has evidence, they should present it. There are attempts to tarnish the government’s reputation with baseless claims,” he asserted.
On the topic of the IRCTC money laundering case, Kumar expressed concern over the lengthy legal proceedings, stating, “Public funds have been misappropriated, and this is a matter of great concern. If the honorable court has issued directives, we urge for a swift final hearing and necessary actions under the law.”
Discussing the upcoming rally by the India Alliance on November 1, Kumar remarked, “Delhi, as the capital, plays a vital role in economic matters. If this rally instills political fear, that is not a good sign. Everyone has the right to express their views in a democracy, but if fear grips the business community, it is problematic.”
Kumar also touched on the MLC elections, noting that they are conducted via ballot paper. He criticized the Congress party’s performance in Karnataka and questioned the integrity of attacking Prime Minister Modi’s family. “Rahul Gandhi should understand the history of his ancestors. He relies on politics of vengeance,” Kumar concluded.
