Mumbai, May 13: Actor Sunny Hinduja is set to appear in the upcoming web series ‘Vimal Khanna.’ This series is an adaptation of the first novel ‘Maut Ka Khel’ from the renowned Hindi author Surendra Mohan Pathak’s popular ‘Vimal Series.’

Hinduja is enthusiastic about the series. In a recent interview, he mentioned that the character Vimal Khanna is already an ‘icon’ in the world of Indian pulp fiction.

He stated, “The fan following for these novels is immense, with numerous copies sold over the decades. Portraying such a popular character on screen is not only a responsibility but also a unique experience.”

In the series, Sunny Hinduja plays Vimal Khanna, a man who sees himself as ordinary but is thrust into extraordinary circumstances.

The actor emphasized that the series’ greatest strength lies in its story. It depicts how an ordinary person gets caught in an extraordinary journey. The narrative showcases how time tests a person, challenging their courage and integrity, as they fight against the system after losing almost everything, including their identity.

This series marks Sunny’s first appearance as a hero on screen. He has put in significant effort for this transformation. He shared, “I worked hard on my physical appearance for this role. When presenting such a famous character at a large scale, it must appear credible and impactful on screen, which I dedicated myself to.”

Sunny has been acting for over a decade and a half. He began his career with the film ‘Shapit’ (2010), but gained real recognition through the TVF web series ‘Aspirants,’ where he played the role of ‘Sandeep Bhaiya’ (Sandeep Ohalan).
