Mumbai: The much-awaited Bollywood film ‘Border 2’ starring Sunny Deol was released across cinemas in India this Friday. On the occasion of the film’s release, Sunny appeared confident and relaxed. He shared a message on social media expressing that there is no worry or stress now, and it is simply time to enjoy the film with the audience.
Immediately after the release, Sunny Deol posted a video on Instagram featuring behind-the-scenes moments, fun on the sets, and some powerful scenes from the movie. The clip also shows Sunny enjoying chole bhature on set. The background score of the video includes the popular song ‘Tara Ram Pam Pam’, which evoked nostalgic memories of the original ‘Border’ film among fans.
In his post, Sunny wrote, “Today is the day of ‘Border 2’. No worries, no stress, just relax and enjoy the film together.”
‘Border 2’ is the sequel to the 1997 classic directed by J.P. Dutta, which was based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The new film revisits the same war but presents it with a fresh storyline and contemporary emotions.
Sunny Deol plays the role of soldier Fateh Singh Kaler in the film. The cast also includes Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Mona Singh, and Medha Rana in significant roles.
The producers of ‘Border 2’ are Gulshan Kumar and T-Series. Anurag Singh has directed the film, while Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta are among the producers. The film has been released with a UA certificate suitable for viewers aged 13 and above, without any cuts.
