Sunil Lahri Expresses Pain Over Middle East Conflicts, Calls for Peace

Mumbai, March 9: Renowned actor Sunil Lahri, famous for his role as Lakshman in the epic Ramayana, has expressed deep sorrow over the ongoing wars in the Middle East and the widespread unrest across the globe. In a video shared on Monday, he made a heartfelt appeal for peace.

In the video posted on his official Instagram account, Lahri encouraged dialogue among people to resolve the ongoing disputes.

He began by sharing that he recently visited his hometown, Bhopal, where he cherished quality time with his family. “I had a wonderful time in Bhopal, and the moments spent with my family are etched in my heart. Now, I have returned to Mumbai, and my usual routine will resume,” he stated.

Lahri then addressed the current state of the world, saying, “There is so much turmoil in the world. I have never understood the issue of war. I believe this conflict is merely a battle of egos and power among a few individuals. The common man is suffering due to the arrogance and power struggles of a select few. Soldiers are losing their lives, and innocent people are also paying the price.”

He further questioned, “Why can’t the entire world unite to say that we do not want this war? If there are issues, they can be resolved through calm discussions.”

Lahri reflected on humanity’s transient existence, stating, “Why don’t people realize that we are all just guests on this Earth? Eventually, none of us will remain. New people will come, new ideas will emerge, new policies and systems will take shape. Live and let live, my friends. Take care of yourselves. Jai Ramji Ki.”

In his video post, he wrote, “The world is currently going through a fragile phase due to war, but what is the reason for this conflict? It is the satisfaction of a few egos and the desire to be the supreme power, yet it is the common people who are suffering. Can’t the world be happy without war?”
