Mumbai, May 14: Stars in the entertainment industry not only strive to stay fit themselves but also inspire their families to lead healthy lives. Sunaina Roshan, sister of actor Hrithik Roshan and a film producer, appears fit today. However, there was a time when she faced numerous challenges due to her increasing weight.
On Thursday, Sunaina shared a collage on Instagram showcasing her transformation with ‘before and after’ pictures. Through this post, she offered fans a glimpse into her physical and mental changes.
Sunaina revealed that her life took a turn after being hospitalized due to a severe illness. The collage features an old photo from the beginning of her journey alongside a recent image where she looks fit and healthy.
In her post, she stated, “I embarked on my journey from being overweight to fit not just to look good, but to live a healthy life. The real change began when I was bedridden due to jaundice and felt scared. I was afraid because I hadn’t paid enough attention to my body and worried about not being there for my loved ones. That fear eventually became my strength.”
She shared that she did not give up and gradually worked on getting fit. Reflecting on her journey, she wrote, “This journey wasn’t easy for me. There were many days when I felt like giving up. My body ached, I felt drained, and the weight wouldn’t budge. Yet, I persisted because I realized that the biggest battle is not with the body, but with the mind.”
Sunaina further explained that the real change occurred when she shifted her mindset, which in turn reflected in her body. “Our body operates just as we think,” she added.
She emphasized that the primary goal of losing weight was to gain strength, endurance, discipline, healthy home-cooked meals, and a better life. Motivating others, she advised, “Your body listens to every thought. Be patient with yourself, keep working hard, and most importantly, maintain discipline.”
Concluding her message, she urged not to chase perfection. “Don’t stop until you complete any task; I look forward to seeing the new person you are about to become.”
