Mumbai, March 28: Renowned director Subhash Ghai has taken a significant step forward in the production industry. His company, Mukta Arts Limited, has formed a major partnership to create films. The collaboration is with the well-known animation company, Green Gold Animation Private Limited. Under this partnership, Mukta Arts’ new division, SGM Studio, will produce animated films and series in collaboration with Green Gold.
Subhash Ghai shared the logo of his studio on his official Instagram account, stating, “Mukta Arts has embarked on a new era of creating animated films for cinema worldwide. Our new division, SGM Animation Studio, will work alongside the esteemed Green Gold Animation Private Limited.”
The director praised Green Gold Animation for its successful projects, including the popular series Chhota Bheem. He expressed his excitement about bringing Indian stories to the next generation and families through animation. “We are thrilled to reach audiences with our strong narratives, alongside experienced partners like Rajiv Chilaka. The success of Chhota Bheem and Narsimha has inspired us to create more films based on our compelling stories. Best wishes and congratulations to Rajiv Ji,” he added.
This partnership is expected to elevate the Indian animation industry to new heights. It marks a new chapter in Ghai’s career, who has previously provided opportunities to many new artists. Now, through animation, he aims to pass on his cinematic legacy to the next generation.
Earlier, Ghai had openly discussed animation and AI. During an event, he revealed which film he plans to showcase first. “I want to present my film Kalicharan first. Its story is intriguing and fun, and I believe today’s children should know it. This film can be shown in theaters and also adapted into animation,” he stated.
He emphasized that while the core plot will remain the same, the presentation style and artists will differ.
