New Delhi, February 12: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami convened a high-level meeting to address law and order issues. The meeting focused on implementing strict actions against criminals, increasing patrols in sensitive areas, and ensuring immediate registration of cases. Dhami emphasized police accountability, citizen safety, and systematic monitoring of habitual offenders, stating that no compromises on law and order would be tolerated. Senior police and government officials participated in the meeting.

CM Dhami firmly stated that any compromise on law and order in the state would not be accepted. He instructed the Director General of Police (DGP) to ensure immediate filing of cases for all types of crimes and to take stringent and effective actions against offenders.

During the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence, Dhami reviewed the state’s law and order situation. He directed strict surveillance on habitual and organized criminals. He insisted on identifying such elements and taking legal action against them to instill fear of law in society, allowing citizens to feel secure.

He urged the police to operate with full alertness, vigilance, and accountability. The functioning of police stations and outposts should be strengthened, with increased patrolling and monitoring in sensitive areas. Special campaigns should be launched to improve traffic and security arrangements in urban areas.

The Chief Minister reiterated that criminals would not be spared under any circumstances. Strict actions would be taken against those who take the law into their own hands, anti-social elements, and anyone attempting to disrupt peace in the state. He conveyed a clear message to officials that visible results are necessary, and the public must feel secure. His government is committed to creating a crime-free Uttarakhand, prioritizing peace, security, and good governance. Ensuring the safety of ordinary citizens is a responsibility of the administration, and negligence at any level will not be tolerated.

CM Dhami instructed officials to regularly review law and order issues and establish accountability at every level to strengthen the rule of law in the state.
