Strengthening Ties: Shah Nawaz Hussain on India-Italy Relations

New Delhi, May 20: BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain commented on Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Italy, marking the final phase of his successful foreign tour. During this trip, he met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Hussain emphasized that the relationship between India and Italy is robust, promising mutual benefits for both nations.

He also critiqued the Samajwadi Party (SP), stating that the party’s leaders are feeling anxious following the results in West Bengal. They seem to fear being out of power for an extended period, which is why they continue to make provocative statements.

Hussain took a jab at Jahangir Khan, who withdrew his candidacy before the re-voting in the Falta assembly seat. He remarked that Khan, who claimed he would not back down, ultimately fled. He noted the absence of Abhishek Banerjee, adding that even former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee faced protests upon her court appearance. The government is tasked with providing protection, but the public is dissatisfied with the TMC and seeks accountability.

In another development, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s remarks regarding prayers on the streets have stirred political discussions in the state. BJP MP Manan Mishra supported Adityanath, asserting that roads are meant for travel, not for prayer. He stated that mosques were built for worship, and individuals can also pray at home or in community settings.

Mishra referenced a statement by Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, suggesting that if Bittu made such a claim, it must be based on solid evidence. He implied that the Aam Aadmi Party, including Bhagwant Mann, is allegedly operating under foreign directives and funding.
