State Bank of India moves up on reporting 64% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

The scrip opened at Rs. 614.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 622.90 and Rs. 612.80 respectively. So far 1005460 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 622.90 on 07-Nov-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 425.00 on 08-Mar-2022.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.35% and 7.13% respectively.

State Bank of India has reported rise of 73.93% in its net profit at Rs 13,264.52 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 7,626.57 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 14.22% to Rs 88,733.86 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 77,689.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported rise of 64.46% in its net profit at Rs 15,017.28 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 9,131.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 13.49% to Rs 1,14,782.48 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,01,143.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
