Ghaziabad, February 19: The Regional Passport Office in Ghaziabad has announced a special passport camp for the residents of Bulandshahr. This initiative aims to bring passport services closer to the public and meet the rising demand in a timely manner.

According to the office, a mobile passport van will be stationed at the main post office on Ansari Road, behind the Old Jail (Pin Code-203001) from February 23 to February 25. Various passport-related services will be available on-site, eliminating the need for applicants to travel to Ghaziabad or other cities.

Regional Passport Officer Anuj Swarup (Indian Foreign Service) stated that this special campaign is being conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

He emphasized that the ministry’s goal is to provide citizens with transparent, simple, and timely services. Particularly in districts where there has been an increase in passport applications, services are being expanded through mobile vans.

Swarup also noted that the demand for passports has significantly risen in recent years due to increasing opportunities in education, employment, and international travel. This special camp is a crucial step to avoid delays or inconveniences in securing appointments, allowing local residents to complete the application process in their own district.

The office has urged citizens to book their appointments online in advance via the official website and to come to the camp with the necessary documents on the scheduled dates. This initiative is seen as a significant move towards making passport services more accessible, convenient, and effective for the residents of Bulandshahr.
