Lucknow, May 11: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with former Union Minister Smriti Irani on Sunday at his office. The discussion focused on women’s empowerment and development projects in her former Lok Sabha constituency, Amethi.
Following the meeting, Irani shared details of their courtesy visit on social media. She noted that the Chief Minister is dedicated to transforming Uttar Pradesh into an exemplary state. They engaged in meaningful discussions regarding issues related to her tenure in Amethi, state development, infrastructure projects, women’s empowerment, and initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among women.
Additionally, the Chief Minister’s office shared on the social media platform X that in Lucknow, Kanpur Dehat District Magistrate Kapil Singh also met with Yogi Adityanath to provide updates on ongoing development projects in the district and seek guidance.
In another announcement, it was reported that Uttar Pradesh Minister Dara Singh Chauhan paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow.
The Chief Minister’s office further informed that Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council member Brijesh Singh ‘Prinsu’ also met with Yogi Adityanath, accompanied by Shrikala Dhananjay Singh, the District Panchayat President of Jaunpur.
In a separate event, MLA Jai Pratap Singh from the Bansi assembly constituency in Siddharthnagar district also had a courtesy meeting with the Chief Minister, as stated in an official release.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Adityanath expanded his cabinet, appointing six new ministers and promoting two state ministers. This move appears to be a clear effort to establish balance among caste, region, and organizational equations.
