SML Isuzu shines on reporting many fold jump in Q1 net profit

SML Isuzu is currently trading at Rs. 1250.50, up by 19.10 points or 1.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 1231.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1235.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1270.00 and Rs. 1225.00 respectively. So far 3779 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1284.70 on 04-Aug-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 620.20 on 23-Dec-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1284.70 and Rs. 1046.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1782.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.11% and 40.93% respectively.

SML Isuzu has reported many fold jump in its net profit at Rs 31.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 2.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 26.59% at Rs 633.81 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 500.66 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

SML Isuzu manufactures a range of vehicles such as trucks, buses and ambulances. The company has launched products like 4WD, Samrat, Sartaj, Dual Cab, Supreme-8 tonner, Truck- Super 12, Super ALFD and many more.
