Etawah (UP), March 9 : Six persons were killed and three others injured when a car collided with a mini-truck in Saifai area of the district on Wednesday. Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Satya Pal Singh said that the incident occurred around 12.30 pm when the mini truck moving from Saifai towards Etawah collided with the car coming from the opposite direction. “Employees of a photo studio were travelling in the car and were coming back from Mainpuri,” he said. Police said that Vishesh, Manjit, Brij Mohan, Karan, Shadab and Vipin were killed in the accident. “All youths are in the age group of 20 to 22 years and are residents of Jaswant Nagar,” it added. The injured have been admitted to the Saifai Medical College, according to the police. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the deaths in the road accident and has expressed his sympathies towards their families. XC AB GK
