This win marked the Titans’ third of the season, elevating them to third place in the points table, while Noakhali Express suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, placing them at the bottom.
The match, held at Silhet International Cricket Stadium, saw Noakhali Express elect to bat after winning the toss. However, their innings collapsed early, managing only 61 runs in 14.2 overs.
Habibur Rahman Sohan and Soumya Government added 24 runs for the opening partnership in 3.1 overs. Soumya Government was dismissed after scoring 6 runs, triggering a collapse in the batting order.
Mahidul Islam Ankon top-scored for Noakhali Express with 25 runs off 32 balls, while Habibur Rahman contributed 18 runs. No other batsman crossed double figures.
For Silhet Titans, Nasum Ahmed was the standout bowler, taking five wickets for just seven runs in four overs. Mohammad Amir, Khaleel Ahmed, Azmatullah Omarzai, and Mehdi Hasan each claimed one wicket.
