Saint Mayank Das reported that a unanimous decision was made to conduct all religious activities at the Ram Lalla Temple according to the Ramanandi tradition. The meeting also addressed the difficulties faced by saints and ordinary devotees in accessing the temple. It was suggested that some concessions be made in the current VIP access system, allowing local residents and saints to receive special privileges based on their Aadhaar cards. Discussions also touched on the former trust secretary Champat Rai, with saints declaring him innocent and stating that the truth would emerge following judicial proceedings.
Mahant Ramkumar Das mentioned that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust is already working on appointing a CEO. Due to a high volume of applications, this topic will be discussed in detail at the trust’s upcoming meeting on September 2, where decisions regarding three vacant seats and the CEO’s appointment will be made. He welcomed the formation of the saints’ committee, stating it would enhance the worship and management of the Ram Janmabhoomi.
He also pointed out that an SIT has been formed by the Chief Minister regarding the alleged theft of offerings, emphasizing that the investigation should not be hindered and that no one should be accused without a complete inquiry. The arrangements for saints, residents of Ayodhya, and visiting devotees should be made easier, ensuring they are not unnecessarily stopped at various points.
Mahant Girish Das Maharaj of the Dandiya Temple also welcomed the religious committee formed by the trust, stating that its purpose is to improve the experience of devotees during their visits to see and worship Ram Lalla. The committee will work to spread the compassion of Lord Ram and the spirit of Ram Rajya to devotees worldwide while ensuring organized worship and visiting arrangements at the temple.
