Mumbai, March 3: Today, when we see Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan together on the big screen, we can’t help but praise their chemistry. However, not many know that Shraddha once proposed to Varun. This revelation came from Shraddha herself during an interview.
Born on March 3, 1987, in Mumbai, Shraddha has an interesting story from her childhood. At just 8 years old, she and Varun were on a film set with their fathers and ended up playing together on a hill.
During their playtime, Shraddha came up with a fun idea. She told Varun that she would say something backward, and he had to figure it out. Shraddha said, “You love I,” which reads as “I love you” when reversed. Innocently, Varun responded, “I don’t like girls,” and ran away immediately. Shraddha shared this amusing anecdote in an interview on a YouTube channel.
Today, both actors have collaborated in films like “ABCD 2” and “Street Dancer 3D,” and they also made special appearances in “Stree 2.”
Regarding Shraddha’s career, she began her film journey with “Teen Patti,” released in 2010. She gained significant recognition in 2013 with Mohit Suri’s romantic film “Aashiqui 2,” where she starred alongside Aditya Roy Kapur. The film tells the story of a successful singer, Rahul, who loses his career due to alcoholism but helps his love interest, Aarohi, become a major singer.
For her performance, Shraddha received multiple nominations. Following “Aashiqui 2,” she appeared in several successful films, including “Ek Villain,” “ABCD 2,” “Baaghi,” “Half Girlfriend,” “Stree,” “Chhichhore,” “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,” and “Stree 2.”
