Shocking Murder Plot Unveiled in Ahmedabad: Wife and Lover Arrested

Ahmedabad, May 18: The Ahmedabad Crime Branch has made a significant breakthrough in a murder case that initially appeared to be an accidental death. The investigation revealed that the death of Shantigiri Vishnugiri Goswami, a resident of Soladi village in the Dhrangadhra taluka, was a premeditated murder orchestrated by none other than his wife, who conspired with her lover.

Goswami’s body was discovered near a canal, and authorities initially classified it as an accident. However, through human intelligence and covert field investigations, the Crime Branch uncovered the shocking truth.

The investigation revealed that Goswami’s wife, Jagritiben, had been involved in a long-term relationship with Kantilal, also known as Bharatbhai Sabaria. Due to this affair and ongoing domestic disputes, they plotted to eliminate Shantigiri. Approximately a year and a half ago, Jagritiben had allegedly hired Yunus Memon, residing in Disa-Palanpur, to carry out the murder, but that attempt failed.

Further inquiries by the Crime Branch indicated that Kantilal played a crucial role in both the murder and the destruction of evidence. Jagritiben faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder, aiding the crime, and attempting to cover up the incident. The suspects misled the community by claiming that Shantigiri had voluntarily left home. Notably, no official missing person report was filed, allowing the case to remain dormant for an extended period.

By piecing together various confidential tips and evidence, the Crime Branch first identified the victim and subsequently exposed the entire murder plot. Legal proceedings are ongoing in this alarming case.
