
Raebareli, May 1: A shocking incident has emerged from Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, causing widespread panic in the area. Two bodies were discovered hanging in the residential complex of the rail coach factory.
The deceased include a man and a woman. The woman’s body was found inside a house, while the man’s body was discovered hanging from a tree. Local residents alerted the police about the grim discovery.
Upon receiving the information, a police team arrived at the scene, took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination. They also began questioning nearby residents regarding the incident.
According to Area Officer Amit Kumar, this incident occurred in the residential area of the rail coach factory in the Lalganj police jurisdiction.
Following the incident, senior officials from the rail coach factory also visited the site. The deceased man has been identified as Sudama, a resident of Jhansi. The woman has been identified as Meera Devi, approximately 37 years old, originally from Bihar. Meera’s husband works at the rail coach factory, and the deceased man was also employed there.
In a related note, a similarly distressing incident was reported from Bareilly, where a farmer was shot dead while sleeping in his field. This incident took place in the Raipur Hans village of Faridpur, Bareilly.
Reports indicate that the farmer had returned from a feast and went to sleep in his field. During the night, he was shot dead, with personal enmity suspected as the motive. The police team is actively investigating the case and searching for the culprits.
