Mumbai, May 19: Actress Shivaleeka Oberoi and her husband, filmmaker Abhishek Pathak, are currently celebrating the arrival of their daughter.
On Tuesday, the couple shared the name of their baby girl on social media. Shivaleeka posted several pictures on Instagram, showcasing her and Abhishek holding their daughter. The joy of becoming parents was evident on their faces.
In her post, Shivaleeka wrote, “Meet the sweetest joy of our lives, named ‘Arika Pathak’. The meaning of Arika is very special. This name embodies the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, who is considered a symbol of love, prosperity, and beauty in the world.”
Shivaleeka revealed that their daughter was born on April 19, during the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya. She expressed gratitude, stating, “Arika came into our lives on the sacred day of Akshaya Tritiya. It feels like a beautiful plan from God. She is beyond all our prayers and dreams. We are truly grateful to God, incredibly happy, and once again completely in love.”
The couple announced their pregnancy in December 2025. Speaking of their love story, Shivaleeka and Abhishek met on the set of the film ‘Khuda Haafiz’, featuring Vidyut Jammwal in the lead role. Their bond grew stronger during the filming, eventually blossoming into love.
They got engaged in July 2022 and tied the knot in February 2023 in Goa, surrounded by family and close friends. Notably, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn was also present at their wedding.
