Shiv Sena Supports Nitesh Rane, Labels AIMIM as Terrorist Party

Mumbai, May 11: The Shiv Sena has come out in support of Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane, who labeled Asaduddin Owaisi’s party, AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen), as a terrorist organization. Party spokesperson Shaina NC stated that AIMIM cannot be considered nationalist, as it primarily understands only terrorism and violence.

In a conversation, Shaina NC expressed her disapproval of the ‘corporate jihad’ allegedly propagated by Nida Khan at TCS. She condemned this act, asserting that AIMIM engages solely in appeasement and vote-bank politics. “AIMIM cannot be nationalist; it only comprehends terrorism, making it, in essence, a terrorist party,” she remarked.

Shaina NC also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following the alliance between Congress and TVK in Tamil Nadu. She questioned Gandhi’s desperation, stating, “With only five MLAs, they are forming alliances. It is clear that the people of Tamil Nadu have favored Vijay, not Congress.”

She further commented on Gandhi’s appearance at a public event, likening him to a bride waiting for attention while everyone focused on the groom, Vijay. “Is this a coalition of cooperation or merely a desperate attempt to ride on TVK’s victory?” she asked, emphasizing that with just five MLAs, Gandhi’s influence is limited.

On the issue of the oil crisis, Shaina NC addressed Prime Minister Modi’s appeal for citizens to exercise restraint in spending on petrol and diesel. She welcomed this voluntary dialogue, highlighting its potential impact on fuel conservation and financial discipline. “With the fluctuations in crude oil prices in the Middle East and supply risks for 2026, the oil import bill will only increase,” she noted.

Shaina NC asserted that the entire nation stands with Prime Minister Modi in this public movement, urging the opposition not to politicize the issue but to understand the circumstances. She emphasized that a public movement also involves the opposition’s participation.

Additionally, she responded to Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s statements, asserting that the BJP’s significant victory in Bengal was due to women’s demand for safety and the youth’s rejection of illegal immigration. “I want to ask Shashi Tharoor if the BJP secured 207 seats due to voter disenfranchisement,” she concluded.
