Shehbaz Sharif orders probe against Imran’s party

Islamabad, April 14 : Pakistan’s new Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday issued for the time orders to hold inquiry against the previous Imran Khan-led government. The PM slammed the previous government for the delay in the launch of a metro bus project that has been pending for last four years. Terming it “severe negligence”, he expressed dismay over the delay in the materialisation of the project as Rs16 billion had already been spent on the mega project of public importance, Geo News reported. He directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to begin the Islamabad Metro Bus Service from April 16. He also visited the Peshawar Morr metro bus station to review the progress of the project.
