Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Rejects Flower Shower Proposal, Vows to Expose Fake Hindus

Varanasi: Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati returned without taking the holy dip on the Amavasya day of Magh month after a dispute with the administration. He revealed how the authorities attempted to persuade him by promising special SOPs for the bath, an offer he firmly declined.

Swami Avimukteshwaranand expressed concern over the misuse of the sentiments of millions of Hindus in the name of religion and saffron. He said, “The issue of the holy bath is now behind us. Discussions will resume when the Magh month returns. The real question now is about exposing fake Hindus. A great deception is being played on all Hindus of the country. Those behind this deceit and their supporters claim to be saints, yogis, spiritual leaders, and godlike figures.”

Regarding forgiveness, the Shankaracharya stated, “The truth is, when we left Prayag, we had already made everything clear. Every detail was documented in writing. Even upon arrival, during talks with everyone, we clarified all the facts. Now, we will focus on protecting cows.”

He further accused the administration of trying to lure him with promises related to the holy bath. “There is a proper way to seek forgiveness. Forgiveness means forgiveness, which includes asking for pardon. They tried to tempt us by saying, ‘Take the bath this way, we will shower flowers on you, and create SOPs for you for the coming years. We will establish standard procedures for all four Shankaracharyas.’ Such proposals came from them, but we rejected them outright. We made it clear that there is only one condition: seek forgiveness from the saints, disciples, celibates, mothers, brothers, and elders on whom you have used force,” he said.
