Mumbai, January 26: Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC strongly responded to AIMIM leader Waris Pathan’s statement about turning Maharashtra and the country green. Shaina NC remarked that even Pathan’s ancestors could not achieve this feat.
In a conversation, Shaina NC accused AIMIM of promoting only Islamization. She said, “Talking about green colour, they have forgotten that their forefathers could not turn this nation green. Whether it was Aurangzeb, Akbar, Babur or Humayun, none succeeded. This is Maharashtra, the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, where the Hindavi Swarajya was established. Remember, saffron is our identity and pride. Keep doing your appeasement politics, but understand that the public will reject you. The days of caste, religion-based politics are over. Today, it is the politics of performance, and only performance matters.”
Regarding Padma Bhushan awardee Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Shaina NC praised his record, stating, “Bhagat Singh Koshyari was an RSS pracharak, served as Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Union Minister and Maharashtra Governor. He has consistently promoted nationalism and patriotism. If he is receiving a Padma award, why is there opposition? Perhaps leaders like Sanjay Raut or Supriya Sule know that none from their side have a record deserving such honours, which might explain their objections. Such decisions are taken in the national interest and with public trust. This is not only a proud moment for Uttarakhand but also a well-deserved recognition for Koshyari.”
On the controversial remarks made by Ganesh Naik against Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, Shaina NC questioned whether Naik sought BJP leadership’s approval or if it was his personal opinion. She asserted, “We do not need his certificate. Eknath Shinde is a mass and grassroots leader with public trust. Such statements reveal one’s mindset. Remember, Ganesh Naik got his ministerial post only when Eknath Shinde was Chief Minister of Maharashtra.”
Speaking about the Davos summit, Shaina NC highlighted, “A historic moment was created with MoUs worth ₹3,00,000 crore signed, which will bring foreign direct investment to Maharashtra. This is unprecedented. The opposition objects because they know Maharashtra is leading. About 55 to 65 per cent of these MoUs will be implemented, leading to job creation, manufacturing growth and infrastructure development. One must observe how the economy is progressing towards a developed India and a developed Maharashtra.”
