New Delhi, May 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to reduce consumption of petrol, diesel, gas, cooking oil, and fertilizers for the nation’s benefit. BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain has voiced his support for this initiative, emphasizing the Prime Minister’s concern for the country.
In an interview with a news agency, Hussain stated that the global economic crisis necessitates support for the government. He remarked, “The Prime Minister has made a significant appeal for the nation’s interest. He has encouraged saving fuel, refraining from gold purchases, and promoting organic farming. I hope the country will adhere to this. If 1.4 billion people work together, we can face this challenge. Everyone should cooperate, and there should be no politics on this issue.”
Hussain further explained that the ongoing conflict between Iran, Israel, and the United States is impacting the global economy. He noted, “Due to this, economic conditions worldwide are not favorable. India is an emerging power, and to keep the nation safe from this crisis for as long as possible, the Prime Minister has made this appeal as a guardian, national leader, and head of the government.”
Regarding the swearing-in ceremony of Himanta Biswa Sarma as Chief Minister of Assam, Hussain stated, “The BJP is set to form the government in Assam for the third consecutive time. Himanta Biswa Sarma is returning as Chief Minister. He has advanced the state on the path of development and established peace and stability. These are the reasons why the people of Assam have once again placed their trust in him.”
On the arrest of former West Bengal minister Sujit Bose by the Enforcement Directorate, Hussain asserted, “Those who are corrupt in Bengal and have looted the state will not be spared. Those who have established ‘jungle raj’ in Bengal and are involved in chaos and looting will be sent behind bars.”
