Patna, May 7: BJP leader Shah Nawaz Hussain expressed his satisfaction with the recent expansion of the Bihar cabinet. In an interview, he stated that Prime Minister Modi had successfully raised the victory flag from Bihar before heading to West Bengal and Assam, where significant achievements were made. He believes that the welcome in West Bengal will be just as warm as in Bihar, as BJP’s government is emerging everywhere under Modi’s leadership.
Reflecting on the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, he remarked that Pakistan received a response it will never forget. He noted that since then, there have been no incidents from Pakistan, as they now understand that PM Modi is not one to back down.
Regarding the violence and murders in West Bengal, he expressed sorrow over the tragic killing of Suvendu Adhikari’s personal assistant. He asserted that a government is now in place to deal with TMC goons effectively, promising they will face appropriate consequences.
Invited speaker Devkinandan Thakur at the Bihar cabinet expansion ceremony commented on the West Bengal election results, stating that people sometimes need to speak according to their understanding. He emphasized that the current system demonstrates the victory of Hinduism and faith. He urged all politicians, regardless of their party, to adhere to their ideologies but to refrain from disrespecting Sanatan Dharma.
He stated that this is a democracy, not a monarchy, and attributed Mamata Banerjee’s defeat to her actions. While he claims to have no personal stake in politics, he noted the significance of ignoring Ram Navami and the neglect of Goddess Durga during Durga Ashtami, along with the closure of many temples.
He concluded by saying that those who have disregarded religion have been sidelined by the people, asserting that religion has defeated Mamata Banerjee. He advised her to focus on winning the hearts of the public from the opposition benches.
Meanwhile, JD(U) MLA Ratnesh Sada remarked that the cabinet expansion is a testament to Nitish Kumar’s trust in him, expressing gratitude for being entrusted with responsibility once again as a Mahadalit son.
