Shah Nawaz Hussain Claims BJP Victory in West Bengal, Accuses TMC of Intimidation

Patna, April 6: Syed Shah Nawaz Hussain, the national spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has asserted that the party is poised for victory in the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections. He stated that the state has devolved into a “jungle raj,” marked by attacks on judicial officials. This, he claims, indicates that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is on its way out and the BJP is set to take over.

In a conversation on Monday, Hussain remarked, “We are going to achieve victory in all five states. This time, we will secure a significant win in West Bengal, and we will form the government in Assam again. Our performance in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Puducherry will also be strong, and we are confident about forming governments there.”

Commenting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks regarding West Bengal, Hussain agreed, stating, “The Prime Minister is absolutely right. The atmosphere in West Bengal shows that the TMC remains in power through fear and intimidation. The BJP aims to win the trust of the people and bring them on board.”

He further elaborated, “West Bengal has now transformed into a ‘jungle raj.’ There is alleged collusion among TMC workers, police, and state administration. Attacks have been directed at judicial officials, election commission officers, and even CRPF personnel. They know that this time, the TMC is going out and the BJP is coming in.”

Hussain also responded to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s alleged comments about the people of Gujarat, stating, “Kharge has insulted the people of Gujarat by calling them uneducated. This is a serious mistake. Any self-respecting Congress worker in Gujarat should leave the party after such remarks. Following this, Congress will not be able to open its account in Gujarat.”

On the occasion of the BJP’s foundation day, spokesperson Shah Nawaz Hussain mentioned that they hoisted the party flag at his residence in Patna and will also participate in the foundation day event in Sitamarhi. He noted, “There is a festive atmosphere across the country. The BJP is the world’s largest political party. We are in power in several states, and this time we will also raise the BJP flag in West Bengal. The lotus will bloom in every home in Bengal.”
