Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić Discusses Key Visit to China

Beijing, May 30: Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, on his first official visit to China, recently gave an exclusive interview to China Media Group.

He described this trip as the most significant of his political career and expressed gratitude to China for awarding him the “Friendship Medal.” Vučić emphasized his commitment to fostering Serbia-China relations and advancing the shared future of the Serbia-China community.

He noted that the current situation is particularly special. In this context, the importance of China as a pillar of stability becomes even clearer, not just for Asia but for the entire world. Countries globally are closely monitoring the thoughts of Chinese President Xi Jinping. They understand that China will not take unpredictable actions and that they can rely on its foreign policy. In the face of global changes, he believes China can adopt a responsible attitude and propose solutions. While other parts of the world face instability, China has consistently maintained stability, peace, and harmony.

Vučić stated that in recent years, the level of cooperation between the two countries has exceeded their expectations. There are immense opportunities for collaboration in various fields such as healthcare, automobiles, robotics, artificial intelligence, and high technology. This cooperation will provide new momentum for Serbia’s development.

Regarding the Taiwan issue, Vučić asserted that it is an internal matter for China. According to the UN Charter, Taiwan belongs to China, and this is very clear.
