Mumbai, April 20 : The BSE Sensex on Wednesday bounced back by 414.47 points at 56,877.62 as buying was seen across the board. The Nifty rose 137 points to 17,089.85. The Sensex registered the days high and low at 57,036 and 56,521 points respectively. The Nifty registered the days high and low at 17,137.45 and 16,978 points respectively. The Mid moved up 0.90 per cent and Small Cap by 0.91 per cent. In 30 scrips, 23 advanced while 7 declined. The gainers were Maruti Suzuki by 2.72 per cent to Rs 7640, Reliance Industries by 2.62 per cent to Rs 2707.55, TCS by 2 per cent to Rs 3155, Dr Reddy’s Lab by 2.45 per cent to Rs 4314.70 and Ultracemco by 1.87 per cent to Rs 6700. The losers were Bajaj Finance by 2.21 per cent to Rs 7115, L& T by 1.61 per cent to Rs 1674, Powergrid by 1.21 per cent to Rs 225.25 and Axis Bank by 1.05 per cent to Rs 789.70. NV ACL1055
