New Delhi, May 13: Ayub Khan, a senior organizer of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and former MLA from the Kantabanji constituency in Odisha, passed away on Wednesday. His death has elicited deep condolences from prominent leaders, including Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Chandra Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, and BJD founder Naveen Patnaik. They remembered Khan for his contributions to regional development and public service, extending their sympathies to his grieving family.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed his sorrow on the social media platform X, stating, “I am deeply saddened to hear about the demise of former Kantabanji MLA Ayub Khan. His contributions to politics and social service will always be unforgettable. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family while praying for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
