New Delhi, May 21: Selected pilgrims for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra have expressed their happiness and described themselves as fortunate. They believe that Lord Shiva has called them to His abode, marking this opportunity as a significant blessing in their lives.
Ashish Khanna, a resident of Lucknow currently living in Noida, shared his excitement with reporters. He mentioned that both he and his wife were chosen in the lucky draw. “I feel incredibly lucky. Out of nearly a hundred people, Mahadev has selected us. We consider ourselves very fortunate,” he said.
His wife, Bagishali, also expressed her joy, stating that they had been waiting for this journey for a long time. “Har Har Mahadev! Mahadev has summoned us. We have been striving for this opportunity for quite some time,” she added.

If a spot opens up, those on the waiting list are given a chance. Amit praised the government, saying, “The government organizes the journey beautifully and efficiently. We hope that those on the waiting list will also get a chance soon. Om Namah Shivaya.”
Bhushan Sharma expressed special gratitude to Lord Shiva, stating that He has graciously called him back to His abode. He also thanked the Ministry of External Affairs and the External Affairs Minister for their warm welcome. “The Ministry welcomed us with love and care. I would like to extend my special thanks to Priyanshu Ji and Sachin Kaushik Ji for organizing this event with such devotion and love. They have given us another opportunity to visit Lord Shiva’s Kailash Mansarovar,” he remarked.
Bhushan also thanked the media, noting that the press played a significant role in transforming this event into a grand and successful occasion.
All selected pilgrims described this journey as a memorable and sacred experience. They appreciated the grace of Lord Shiva and the efforts of the government. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is considered spiritually significant, attracting thousands of devotees eager to participate each year.
