Science exhibition better platform for all round development of students and increase in creative skills: Kamalendra Singh

In the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition, 110 participants from 62 schools showed their talent on the topic ‘Technology and Toys’.

The inauguration ceremony of the two-day Regional Science Exhibition for the session 2022-23, organized annually by CBSE, was concluded with great fanfare at Bhupal Nobles’ Public School. Principal Dr. Seema Naruka said that about 62 schools of the state participated and displayed about 110 models in the regional science exhibition to be held on 9 and 10 December. The theme of the exhibition was ‘Technology and Toys’.

The Chief guest of the program was Mr. Kamalendra Singh Ranawat, Deputy Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Udaipur, Member Vidya Pracharini Sabha, BN aluminus. The program was presided over by the school chairman Mr. Hanumant Singh ji Boheda. He welcomed the guests with Uparna and bouquet. The jury consisted of Dr. Avinash Pawar, Dr. Chetan Singh Chauhan, Dr. Kamal सिंह Rathore, Dr. Bhupendra Vyas, Dr. Chandrapal Singh Chauhan and Dr. Devendra Pareek. Mr. William D’Souza, CBSC City Co-ordinator and Principal St. Anthony’s School and Dr. Poonam Rathore were present as Special guests.

Dr. Avinash Panwar and Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore congratulated and encouraged the students while informing them about the criteria of judging. Chief guest Mr. Kamalendra Singh said that the science exhibition was started in 1968 in Udaipur itself. He told that the aim of science is to positively increase the quality of life of a person. Science exhibition is a better platform for the all-round development and enhancement of creative skills of the students. By giving positive direction to the students, it inspires self-confidence and action. He told that building a prosperous India is possible only on the basis of physical, mental and spiritual strength of the students. This type of exhibition develops the feeling of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam among the students according to mutual adjustment and Indian culture.

On the first day of the exhibition, the students showed their creativity through various models and presented with confidence and took flight of dreams for their higher career. The winners selected by the jury will be given an opportunity to showcase their creativity in the National Science Exhibition. Around 20 CBSE schools from Udaipur visited on the first day of the science exhibition. The exhibition will continue tomorrow on 10th December and the closing ceremony will be at 4.00 pm.
