Chennai, Apr 11 : Expelled AIADMK leader V K Sasikala today said she would file an appeal in the Madras High Court against a local court dismissing her plea challenging the AIADMK General Council’s decision to expel her from the post of interim General Secretary. Talking to reporters at Thiruchengode, she still contended that her expulsion was invalid. “I will file an appeal in the High Court”, she added. To a question on the need for AIADMK-BJP working together, she said “it is a compulsion of time”. Meanwhile, AIADMK cadres celebrated the court verdict allowing the petition filed by top AIADMK leaders O Panneerselvam and Edappadi K Palaniswami against Sasikala’s plea by bursting crackers and distributing sweets at the party office in the city. Later, in the evening OPS and EPS came to the party office to discuss the outcome of the court order and Sasikala’s decision to file an appeal. GV 1930
