Jaipur :Â A placement and Job oriented training introductory seminar was conducted by the Oberoi group of hotels for Veer Naris & their wards of Sapta Shakti Command at Jaipur Military Station on 27 May 2023. Natasha Mehta, Senior Faculty Sales Department, Oberoi Centre of Leaning & Development and Pranav Virmani, Manager Learning & Development Ramvilas Jaipur conducted the introductory seminar for the audience.
A MoU in this regard was signed between the President AWWA and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in November 2022 at Delhi to provide much needed assistance to Veer Naris and their dependents in seeking and exploring job opportunities in Hospitality industry. Oberoi group of Hotels is planning to upskill the job seeking individuals with a fully funded three year bachelor degee programme from IGNOU. The programme named Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) has been tailor-made for the Veer Naris and their dependents.
Speaking at the event, Mrs Shakunthala Raju, Regional President AWWA, Sapta Shakti Command applauded the effort & initiative extended by the Oberoi group and also mentioned about the support base available for Veer Naris and their dependents at Jaipur Military Station. Regional President AWWA reiterated that we are one family and shall remain committed to the cause of Veer Naris and their dependents to the best of our ability.
