Sanjay Sarawagi Criticizes Tejashwi Yadav Amid Chandigarh Blast Fallout

Patna, April 5: Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi has expressed sharp criticism towards the Punjab government and Mamata Banerjee in light of the recent blast in Chandigarh. He likened Tejashwi Yadav’s situation to that of a “frustrated cat scratching a pole.”

Speaking about the explosion outside the BJP office in Sector 37, Sarawagi stated, “This incident reflects the failure of the Punjab government’s administration. The Punjab government must take strict action against those responsible for the attack. If anti-national elements are involved, it is a clear failure on their part.”

Regarding Mamata Banerjee’s comments about boycotting the elections, Sarawagi remarked, “Mamata Banerjee’s concerns are evident. Now she is even talking about boycotting the vote. This is a reprehensible attitude in a democracy. It seems she realizes that she may soon lose power. The hostage situation involving seven officers in Malda indicates that TMC is fearful of losing its grip on power.”

On the recent robbery at a jewelry shop in Darbhanga, Sarawagi assured, “Criminals will not be spared in Bihar. While incidents are occurring, action is also being taken against the criminals. In the Darbhanga robbery case, police swiftly arrested six criminals from Begusarai. One of them was injured in an encounter. The stolen goods will soon be recovered. Our government asserts that criminals must either abandon their crimes or leave Bihar.”

When asked about Tejashwi Yadav’s challenge regarding development issues, Sarawagi responded, “During the RJD’s rule, there was lawlessness, as the courts have stated. Crimes occurred under the protection of power. Dogs were found on hospital beds. However, under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, healthcare facilities in Bihar have improved significantly, and the state leads in free medicine distribution. Today, every panchayat has schools up to the 12th grade, and there are plans to open colleges at the block level. What challenge can Tejashwi Yadav present? His situation resembles that of a ‘frustrated cat scratching a pole.’”
