Sanjay Raut Accuses Government of Reviving East India Company Era
Sanjay Raut claims the central government is attempting to reinstate an East India Company-like system, warning of impending chaos.

Mumbai, October 20 (Daily Kiran) : Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has sharply criticized the central government, alleging that there is an effort to reintroduce a system reminiscent of the ‘East India Company’ in India. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Raut reiterated his concerns about rising chaos in the country if the current administration remains in power.
He emphasized that his earlier warnings about potential disorder are more relevant than ever. “Yes, chaos will ensue if this government continues,” he stated, urging the Supreme Court to take note of the situation. Raut expressed confidence in the judiciary, believing it to be the only institution capable of safeguarding the nation.
Raut questioned the government’s stance on national symbols, noting, “If the government opposes the hoisting of the tricolor, what does that signify? This government does not represent nationalists or patriots, and it seems to be trying to revive a system akin to the ‘East India Company.’ Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Maharashtra is also complicit in this.”
He further criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments regarding drug trafficking, calling it ironic that those presiding over a surge in drug smuggling would make such statements.
On the remarks made by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Raut suggested that there is a current movement aimed at finding solutions to pressing issues. “We are doing exactly what you are thinking. You, too, desire a change in government. You believe that the administration under Manmohan Singh was better, and we have mistakenly allowed the wrong people to take power. We understand your sentiments well. The movement we are leading is in the interest of the nation and society,” Raut concluded.
