Sanjay Nirupam Welcomes Manoj Jaranges Decision to Withdraw Protest, Emphasizes Justice for Farmers

Sanjay Nirupam praises Manoj Jaranges protest withdrawal, highlighting Indias semiconductor progress and addressing farmer issues in Maharashtra.

New Delhi, September 18 (Daily Kiran) : Sanjay Nirupam, spokesperson for the Shiv Sena, expressed his support for Manoj Jarange’s decision to withdraw his protest, emphasizing the importance of justice for farmers in Maharashtra. He noted that the Indian semiconductor industry is rapidly advancing, entering its second phase of production. Nirupam stated that India is on its way to becoming a significant exporter of semiconductor chips, asserting that the country will soon compete with major global players.

He highlighted the crucial role of semiconductor chips in the ongoing electronic and computer revolution. Once reliant on imports for critical technology, India is now witnessing substantial domestic semiconductor production, with over a dozen companies engaged in this sector. Nirupam credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this significant achievement.

Addressing issues raised by Sharad Pawar regarding drought-affected areas in Maharashtra, Nirupam acknowledged Pawar as one of the state’s senior leaders. He assured that any information regarding farmers’ struggles in drought-hit regions would be taken seriously. The Maharashtra government, along with the Chief Minister and both Deputy Chief Ministers, is committed to developing plans to alleviate the hardships faced by farmers.

On the mysterious death of Disha Salian, Nirupam called for a thorough and impartial investigation, making serious allegations about the circumstances surrounding her death. He criticized the opposition for politicizing the issue, stating that no one should be exonerated before the investigation concludes. He urged Aditya Thackeray to present evidence of his innocence to the investigative agencies, asserting that only after the investigation can the truth about the Disha Salian case be revealed.

Nirupam stressed that declaring someone innocent before an investigation is inappropriate and dismissed claims of political conspiracy, urging that investigative agencies be allowed to perform their duties.

Regarding the Maratha reservation movement, Nirupam welcomed Manoj Jarange Patil’s decision to end his hunger strike. He reiterated the Maharashtra government’s commitment to delivering justice for Maratha youth. He mentioned the pressures on police during the Ganapati festival in Mumbai, noting that the arrival of protestors could have added strain to law enforcement and public order.
