Born on July 29, 1959, in Mumbai, Sanjay Dutt is the son of renowned actor Sunil Dutt and legendary actress Nargis Dutt. His connection to the film industry began early, leading him to act as a child artist in the 1971 film ‘Reshma Aur Shera’.
He made his Bollywood debut in 1981 with the film ‘Rocky’, directed by his father. The film’s success catapulted him to fame, but it was also the time when he lost his mother, Nargis Dutt, which deeply affected him.
