
Mumbai, May 8: Actress Sangeeta Ghosh has shared heartfelt insights about her daughter Devi, just before Mother’s Day. Discussing the role and responsibilities of a mother, Sangeeta revealed that holding her daughter for the first time was a transformative experience in her life.
Sangeeta expressed, “The moment I held my daughter Devi changed me forever. I don’t think I can fully articulate it in words. It’s a moment when you suddenly understand the emotions of every mother who holds a special bond with her child.”
She further explained that her perspective on playing a mother in shows has completely shifted since becoming one herself. Portraying the character Gulab in the TV show ‘Tu Juliet Jatt Di,’ she noted, “Gulab is an overly protective mother. She constantly worries about her son Nawab. The show illustrates how delicate the balance is between protecting a child and granting them freedom. As a mother, I truly understand this responsibility.”
On this Mother’s Day, Sangeeta saluted all mothers who courageously love their children while also allowing them the freedom to grow. She emphasized that this is the essence of true and brave love.
Actress Sneha Wagh also shared her thoughts for Mother’s Day (May 10), stating, “Growing up, I didn’t realize how effortlessly my mother managed the household. It was only when I started working and living independently that I understood her hard work.”
Sneha mentioned that the values she learned from her mother remain with her to this day. While portraying the character Vidya in her show, she often reminisces about her mother.
