Mumbai, April 9: The film ‘Dhurdhar: The Revenge’, featuring actor Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, is performing exceptionally well at the box office. Even after 21 days since its release, the film’s earnings remain robust.
The film has grossed over ₹1,600 crores. Following this success, producer-director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has openly praised the film and addressed its critics.
Known for his bold films like ‘Animal’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’, Vanga expressed his admiration for ‘Dhurdhar’. He remarked that those who built their careers on publicity are now mocking this successful film.
On the social media platform X, he stated, “Writers and actors who thrived on publicity are now ridiculing ‘Dhurdhar’. If your first reaction is to mock, you cannot call yourself liberal. It’s strange how truth has been rebranded as publicity.”
Vanga also shared a unique method for Aditya Dhar to ward off negative energy that often follows success. He suggested not just burning a handful of red chilies but rather an entire field of them. He added, “I want to tell Aditya that this negativity won’t go away with just a handful of red chilies; you need to burn the whole field.”
Interestingly, Sandeep Reddy Vanga was spotted in theaters watching the film alongside actor Prabhas, with videos and photos of their outing going viral on social media.
Following ‘Dhurdhar: The Revenge’, Aditya Dhar has received significant praise. His previous film, ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, was also well-received, but this time both the film and Dhar’s work have garnered widespread acclaim.
