Samsung has introduced its latest innovation at CES 2026, unveiling the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV, codenamed the R95H. This new model boasts the industry’s widest 100% BT.2020 colour gamut, setting a new standard in television display technology.
Instead of presenting the R95H as a conventional large black screen, Samsung has designed it with a window-like frame called the “Timeless Frame.” This design, inspired by the company’s 2013 Timeless Gallery concept, aims to make the screen resemble a large architectural window, creating a more elegant and less overpowering presence in any room.
The frame also houses the audio system, which is specially tuned to match the size of the screen. This integration ensures that the sound and picture work together seamlessly, enhancing the overall viewing experience.
At the heart of the R95H is Samsung’s advanced Micro RGB display system. It features the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro, and Micro RGB HDR Pro technologies to optimise colour, contrast, and brightness. The TV uses artificial intelligence to improve darker tones, refine subtle contrasts, and maintain colour accuracy in both bright and dim environments.
The 130-inch TV supports the full BT.2020 colour spectrum and has received VDE certification for precise colour reproduction. Additionally, it includes Samsung’s glare-free, low-reflection coating, which helps preserve colour fidelity and contrast even in brightly lit rooms.
Other features of the R95H include HDR10+ Advanced support and Eclipsa Audio. The updated Vision AI Companion offers conversational search, personalised recommendations, and access to functionalities such as AI Football Mode Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, and integration with Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.
Samsung will showcase the 130-inch Micro RGB TV at its exhibition zone during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Details regarding pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
