Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu expressed her heartfelt gratitude after attending the Republic Day reception hosted by President Droupadi Murmu on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day.
Samantha shared that she never imagined being part of such a prestigious event. She said that fate and her country gave her the opportunity to experience something she once thought impossible.
In an emotional post on Instagram, Samantha wrote, “Growing up, I had no cheerleader. No inner voice that ever suggested I would be here one day. Such dreams once seemed so big that even thinking about them was difficult. I just kept coming, in a country that considered that enough.”
She concluded her post with the words “always grateful” and folded hands emoji, reflecting her deep appreciation.
For the event, Samantha chose a stunning green saree adorned with golden zari work, presenting an elegant look. She also shared several pictures from the reception, including shots of herself posing at Rashtrapati Bhavan and the invitation card for the event.
The reception saw the presence of many notable personalities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, European Council President Antonio Costa, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

On the professional front, Samantha is set to appear next in the Telugu drama film ‘Ma Inti Bangaram’. The film, directed by B.V. Nandini Reddy, is being produced by Samantha’s production house, Trala Moving Pictures, in collaboration with Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvuru.
