Mumbai, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : In Mumbai, Salman Khan took a stand for Kanika Mann during the latest episode of “Bigg Boss 20’s” Weekend Ka Vaar. The episode featured a heated exchange following an inappropriate remark made by contestant Kazi Tauqeer about Mann. She expressed her disapproval, asserting that she would teach him a lesson about respect within the show.
Kazi attempted to clarify his comment, claiming it was made innocently and not intended to offend. However, Salman challenged him, questioning why he was trying to justify his actions instead of offering an apology.
Ahead of the episode, the channel released a promo on Instagram showcasing Salman confronting Kazi. He admonished him, stating, “Kazi, if your comment upset someone, you should have stepped back, but you kept pushing forward.”
Salman then asked Kanika if Kazi had apologized, to which she replied, “He seems to have too much air in him.” Kazi interjected, stating he had tried to apologize, but Salman countered, “We haven’t seen you apologize to her. You claimed you’d take a bullet but wouldn’t say sorry.”
In defense, Kazi insisted that his apology was meant as a joke. Salman retorted, “Have you ever heard someone jokingly say sorry in such a context?”
“Bigg Boss 20” features 16 celebrity contestants, including MC Mary Kom, Kanika Mann, Mahi Vij, and Kazi Tauqeer, among others. The Indian Hindi reality show is based on the Dutch format “Big Brother” and airs on Colors, with episodes available for streaming on JioCinema.
