Mumbai, May 19: Celebrities often find their statements interpreted in various ways by the public. Recently, actor Salman Khan faced a similar situation, prompting him to clarify his remarks. On Monday, he took to social media to explain that his comments about loneliness were merely a general observation and not a reflection of his personal life or any issues he might be facing.
In a note shared on the social media platform X, Khan wrote, “Hey guys, I wasn’t talking about myself. How can I feel lonely when I have such a large family and wonderful friends? How can I feel alone when I have all of you, your good wishes, and prayers? If I still feel lonely despite all this, I would be the world’s biggest ungrateful person.”
He further elaborated that sometimes his “social battery” runs low, making it difficult for him to engage with others. Therefore, he prefers to spend some time alone. He added, “Sometimes being around people tires me out, so I need some time alone. People have blown this out of proportion. My mom is asking, ‘What happened, son?’ Just chill.”
Previously, Khan had posted about the difference between being alone and feeling lonely, which sparked discussions about his mental state. This led him to issue another post to clarify his position.
The actor is set to appear in the film ‘Matrubhumi,’ which was originally scheduled for release on April 17 but has been postponed. Speculation suggests it may hit theaters between June and August, potentially around the Independence Day weekend.
