Sagar Cements trades higher as its arm commences grinding operations at Odisha plant

Sagar Cements is currently trading at Rs. 274.15, up by 2.90 points or 1.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 271.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 275.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 278.00 and Rs. 272.65 respectively. So far 4685 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 319.00 on 06-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 129.61 on 29-Jan-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 292.00 and Rs. 260.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3213.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.28%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.30% and 35.42% respectively.

Sagar Cements’ wholly owned subsidiary — Jajpur Cements has commenced its grinding operations from January 10, 2022 at its newly implemented 1.5 million tonnes grinding plant at Jajpur District in the state of Odisha.
