Mumbai, March 31: Renowned television actress Rupali Ganguly has carved a special place in the hearts of audiences with her remarkable acting skills. Recently, she opened up about a unique aspect of her personal life.
In the popular TV series “Anupamaa,” Rupali adopted a young girl, and in real life, she has also ‘semi-adopted’ a little girl. This revelation came during a cooking vlog hosted by the famous choreographer, director, and YouTuber Farah Khan.
Farah visited Rupali’s mother’s home in Worli for a cooking session, where they shared laughter and stories. During this time, Rupali spoke about her ‘semi-adopted’ daughter.
She explained, “Yes, I have semi-adopted a girl. Her mother, Anita, has been part of our family since my son Rudransh was born. Rudransh was only one year old at that time. Anita grew up in my home.”
Rupali further shared that she was the one who held the little girl right after her birth. She added, “When her mother went into labor, I immediately left my shoot to be there. I feel she is like my own daughter. I am her legal guardian, and in every way, she is like my daughter.”
The little girl’s name is Aadhya. Rupali also shared a delightful anecdote, saying, “Aadhya teaches my brother Vijay dance steps and says, ‘Uncle, not like that, do it this way.’ It’s so much fun to watch.”
During the vlog, Aadhya made a brief appearance in front of the camera. With a smile, Rupali remarked, “She didn’t want to stay behind. She wanted to come to her grandmother’s house.”
The actress expressed that Aadhya has been an essential part of her life for several years and holds a very special place in her heart.
