Mumbai, April 11 : With the engines revving and running full throttle, at an altitude of 35,000 feet Ajay Devgn has taken to the pilot’s seat and is currently geared up for the landing of his latest film “Runway 34”, with the release of the much-anticipated Bollywood flick’s second trailer. The upcoming aerial drama is based on real incidents and will see the Devgn starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan. While the film is scheduled to hit the theatres by the end of April, its makers are keeping viewers engaged with regular updates. Last month, the makers of ‘Runway 34’ released its first trailer and gave a glimpse of the drama the audience will enjoy with the movie. Directed by Ajay Devgn, the two-minute trailer begins with Ajay Devgn, as pilot Vikrant Khanna, facing a legal battle and explaining how only the pilot is blamed when a flight faces some trouble. Playing an investigative official, Amitabh Bachchan enters the scene and interrogates Vikrant Khanna and his co-pilot. The clip captures the sentiments of both the pilot and passengers of a flight that is on the verge of crashing. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan’s character blames Ajay Devgn’s Vikrant Khanna for the disaster. The film’s poster read, “The truth is hidden 35,500 feet above the ground,”, indicating a heavy dose of mystery, intensity, drama, suspense and tension, bringing to the audience a fivefold formula of extra delight. Taking to Instagram, Big B dropped the trailer and said: “SAVIOUR or CULPRIT? Brace yourselves for the unexpected. The clash of two stalwarts begins. #Runway34Trailer2 will grip you.” Ajay also posted the same on his Instagram. Taking to Instagram, Big B shared a 34 seconds video revealing ‘What would be audience’s take-away after watching this movie?’. Appealing to the audience, the mega star said, “After watching this movie the moment you leave the theatre take a turn and make advance booking for the whole month.” Producer as well, Ajay also revealed 314 decisions his character took in one go. “Captain Vikrant Khanna took 314 decisions during the course of the flight.” Reportedly inspired by an event of 2015, the film stars alongside Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan, Rakaul Preet, Boman Irani, with Aakanksha Singh and YouTuber Ajey Nagar and Angira Dhar playing supporting roles.
