The Rajasthan Patwari Recruitment Exam will be held tomorrow, 17 August, at various exam centres across the state. The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has announced strict guidelines and a dress code for all candidates. A total of 3,705 Patwari posts will be filled through this recruitment, and about 6.78 lakh candidates have applied. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Shift-wise Question Paper Rule:

First shift candidates will not be allowed to take the question paper home, while second shift candidates can do so.

The OMR (answer sheet) carbon copy can be taken by all candidates.

Gate Closing Time:

Candidates must reach the centre two hours before the exam.

Entry gates will close one hour before the exam starts.

Photo ID Mandatory:

Bring your e-admit card and original photo ID (preferably Aadhaar with date of birth).

PAN card, passport, driving licence, or voter ID can be used in special cases.

Photograph Requirement:

Carry two new coloured photographs (2.5 cm x 2.5 cm), and a transparent blue ballpoint pen.

The photo should not be more than one month old.

Old Photograph Advisory:

If your ID photo is older than 3 years, update it.

Entry will not be allowed if photo mismatch occurs.

Ban on Watches:

No type of watch is allowed.

Only transparent blue pens are permitted; no bags, bottles, purses, calculators, electronics, or notes are allowed.

Dress Code:

Men: Full/half-sleeve shirts or t-shirts, kurta-pyjama, trousers. Jeans are NOT allowed.

Women: Salwar suit, saree, half/full-sleeve kurta/blouse, simple hairband.
-
Large buttons, brooches, metal badges, or decorative pins are NOT allowed.

Only thin glass/bangle allowed; no other jewellery.
-
No caps, scarves, stoles, mufflers, or sunglasses.
-
Only low-ankle slippers, sandals, shoes, or socks without metal chains are permitted.

OMR Sheet Instructions:

If not attempting, mark the fifth option.

Not marking any option will result in 1/3 negative marking.

Negative Marking Policy:

If more than 10% questions have no option filled, the candidate will be disqualified.

Ten extra minutes will be given to ensure OMR options are filled.

Free Bus Travel:

Candidates can travel free on Rajasthan Roadways buses from 15 August midnight to 19 August midnight by showing their admit card.
