New Delhi, March 20 : Alia Bhatt riding her wave of success on Sunday splashed a bit of more colour to Delhi’s Holi weekend, when flanked by the namesake ‘RRR’ the trio of SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the film’s cast went about town in more than one event to promote the upcoming release. The much awaited Rajamouli directorial staring also Ajay Devgn announced that the makers have tied up with PVR Cinemas. The PVR and Rajamouli are collaborating and for first time the multiplex chain will be going through a brand makeover for the next few months — to be exclusively renamed ‘PVRRR’. The magnum opus after being postponed time and again will finally hit the theatres on March 25. Apparently Jr NTR was in the national capital for the very first time, and fans at Connaught Place just could not hide their excitement. Big round of applause and cheers rang outside the venue as the star cast for the multilingual waved out. Fans have already witnessed a glimpse of the chemistry between Alia and Ram Charan, their dance moves are already ‘hot and hit’. The social media has been abuzz for months with NTR Jr’s energetic dance moves and electrifying screen presence. Sharing his experience with the ‘Baahubali’ director, NTR Jr said: “The most challenging part for us was satisfy SS Rajamouli, because other directors would say 99.9 per cent is also fine but he is the only director who says I want my 100, you give your 100 per cent and then move out of the character.” Alia too, shared her experience as it will her first film opposite both the Southern Superstars. Describing the amount of hard work that each one put in, the reigning “Gangubai Kathiawadi” shared a funny scene of Jr NTR and said: “In a scene where Tarak had to bend down but he couldn’t because his legs were so sore. He had done a very heavy leg workout.” Rajamouli while explaining the importance of character ‘Sita’ played by Alia said: “I wanted a character which would hold enough internal strength to control these two forces (Jr NTR and Ram Charan character) or lead these forces in a proper way, so that’s why I wanted Alia to do it. “If you are talking about the length of character, it is less but the importance of the character is very high.” The D V V Danayya produced film marks the Telugu debut of Alia Bhatt. After Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Dubai, the cast on Sunday earlier also visited Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Statue of ty in Gujarat. ‘RRR’ became the first film to visit the monument for fil promotion. The “RRR” makers and cast shared their latest pictures from the Vadodara visit, sending fans into a tizzy building up the heat for the next Friday release. After Delhi, where another event with Bollywood “perfectionist” Aamir Khan was also scheduled, the cast will move on to Amritsar, Jaipur, Kolkata, Varanasi. The cast will be visiting potential markets to build hype for the film till March 22 that started with their Saturday Holi day outing.
